Located in Lawrence County in northwest Alabama, the city of Moulton offers a leisurely paced lifestyle and southern hospitality with convenient access to many metropolitan areas.

OUR HOSPITAL

Licensed for 100 beds, Lawrence Medical Center is a JCAHO-accredited facility with a six-bed ICU, two operating rooms and nine radiology rooms. The hospital offers a full range of medical services, with three medical office buildings and rural health clinics.

Plans are well underway for the construction of a new $20 million hospital facility. This new hospital will place Moulton as a leader in Alabama healthcare. The new medical facility will feature electronic health records, wireless barcode medication charting, digital imaging and a hospital-wide wireless network. Physicians will be able to send and receive test results almost instantaneously. Caregivers will have access to the real-time information to help them make critical medical decisions.
